Hello and welcome! I am thankful you are here and certainly understand the overwhelm that can happen when reading through profiles. Please, don't hesitate to request a consultation meeting over phone or video. I'm happy to answer any questions to assist you in discovering if we may be a good fit in working together. Over the past 9 years, I have worked closely with adolescents, adults, and families while facing many of life's challenges as well as struggles with mental health. Folks often work with me through difficult life transitions, family or relationship issues, personal insecurities, and body image concerns. I have spent a significant time enhancing my education and experience supporting folks with recovery from trauma in all its forms, stress and anxiety, as well as mood disturbances, emotional distress, and depression. Additionally, I compassionately support people navigating troublesome experiences with substance misuse. My clients and I often focus on developing a trusting relationship that emphasizes open, honest communication within a non-judgmental, laid back environment. Together we identify the areas of growth and healing that best suit their unique needs and work collaboratively to recognize personal strengths, build skills and knowledge, and foster a strong support network. My approach to therapy is relaxed and casual, while promoting a flexible and adaptive experience that aligns with each individual. All of my services are through phone and video sessions. My schedule can be flexible so feel free to ask about additional availability. I am currently based in Pennsylvania, However, I am licensed to work with people in both Pennsylvania and North Carolina, as I was living in Western NC for 12 years prior to moving back to my home state of PA. When the future feels like a storm cloud When old wounds won't heal on their own More support than weekly therapy alone Patients connect with a dedicated therapist and receive daily support between sessions, not just once a week. This ensures continuity through the unpredictable emotional shifts that follow major change.
Hello, and welcome. My name is Kathleen McGah and I offer a comfortable, confidential space for teens, college-age students and young adults to talk about whatever is on their mind, at one's own pace, and without judgment. When people have a safe place to practice putting thoughts and feelings into words, they find they grow psychologically stronger over time - and more satisfied with various aspects of life. I have worked with many students who, initially, have been hesitant to talk with a professional. (Even if one has had a counseling experience in the past, it can still be difficult to start with a new therapist.) It makes sense if you have some hesitation about taking this step. Only you will know if you are ready. If you have been struggling and think it would be good to meet with a therapist, though, please reach out.

Hi, I’m Dr. Lauren Chase, founder of Climbing Hills Counseling. I help high-achieving women boost their self-esteem, overcome anxiety and self-doubt, and unlock their full potential. Come sit down on your favorite chair, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let’s talk about the pressure you’ve been carrying, including the constant juggling of work, parenting, relationships, and everything in between. Balancing multiple roles and responsibilities can be so exhausting! Whether you're joining between meetings or during naptime, we’ll work together to quiet the self-doubt and ease the anxiety. Let’s help you feel more like yourself again. As a fellow beautifully anxious person, I understand what it’s like to live in constant survival mode, always anticipating the next challenge and struggling to enjoy your achievements because it’s hard to feel “good enough.” Let’s work together to quiet that anxiety, stop the people-pleasing, and silence that bully in your head telling you that you’re just not “enough.” You can overcome your challenges and reconnect with your true self. Sometimes, though, we all need a little guidance and a push up the hill to get there. By understanding the “how” and “why” behind our behaviors, we can become brave enough to break free from old patterns and start creating a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and authentic. I believe therapy should feel approachable, empowering, and rooted in authenticity. Come as you are, messy, tired, driven, unsure. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Together, we’ll create a space where you’re fully seen and supported while you work toward the goals you’ve carried for too long.
There may be points in our lives where circumstances, relationships or life events are impacting our well-being. My goal is to be a collaborative partner and a support as we navigate through the process of self-discovery, recovery and healing. It takes courage to take the first step and I want to respect and honor the vulnerability that comes with the process. However, there is hope and each client brings their inherent strengths and experience to the process. I work with various therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I also use other evidenced-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing (MI), somatic and mindfulness-based practices to best address the needs of each client. I am passionate about working with clients experiencing life transitions, depression, communication challenges, relationships issues, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, family issues, peer relationships, social connection, and young adult issues. I value working with students and enjoy helping others navigate what can be a challenging stage in life. Your journey is meaningful, and I am excited to share the process of discovery and growth with you and be a support by offering tools and skills to help you navigate through to reach your goals. I invite you to contact me today.

I am an expressive arts therapist, and offer a compassionate, safe place to explore your experience.
My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients are able to explore issues and improve the quality of their lives. I use an integrative style of psychotherapy that pulls from many different approaches with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work with clients is based on a collaborative approach that promotes a strong alliance and allows for open and honest communication. Within this foundation, clients develop the safety and freedom to challenge behaviors and beliefs and discover new attitudes that promote change.

I honor the opportunity clients provide during their most vulnerable state by providing a warm, nonjudgmental and affirming space. I believe in the power of connection when building a therapeutic relationship with children, teen and adult clients. I strive to empower clients by assisting them with creating insight of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors contributing to current emotional and behavioral symptoms while also supporting the development of holistic coping skills. I have experience in providing therapy in areas of anxiety, depression, teen issues, women’s issues, college students and life transitions.
We live in a culture that constantly pushes us to do more, work harder, and question whether we’re ever “enough.” For many students, that pressure leads to stress, anxiety, and burnout. But thriving isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about finding balance, clarity, and a stronger sense of who you are and what you need. This work often extends into your relationships, your identity, and your sense of direction. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, explore what’s weighing on you, and develop a more grounded, sustainable way forward.

I enjoy collaborating in the therapeutic process, partnering with individuals who are seeking guidance in pursuing wellness and healing. My goal is to create a space for ALL people to feel welcomed and celebrated, and where individuals can work to improve their quality of life. I am a compassionate listener, and I use a Strengths-Based Approach and Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help people find wholeness and continue the process of healing. I am honored to walk alongside clients in their journey toward truth and understanding. When I am not in the office, I enjoy the peace of nature and the encouragement that comes from spending time with loved ones.
I have 15 years of experience as an LCSW-C supporting, educating and holding emotional space for young adults and their families. I have post graduate training with a Certification in Child and Adolescent Therapy, a Certification in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and am a Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional. I am also trained as an ADHD Coach for college students and young adults. I am a Certified Mental Coach for high school and college athletes. I work collaboratively with young adults and their families dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, family conflicts, sexuality, and childhood traumas. I partner with students and schools to support clients with ADHD and educational issues. I believe in meeting the client where they are and looking for therapeutic strategies that fit their lifestyle and background. Mental health is very personal, based on client experiences. I see therapy as a tool to help client identify strengths and teach effective coping strategies and skills they can apply to their lives now and for future struggles. I consider myself fortunate to be able to work in a profession that I truly love and I consider a privilege to be invited into my clients' inner lives, and to travel this journey with them through healing, change, and self-empowerment. I see therapy as a process of identifying strengths and struggles and teaching clients to harness their own power.
Getting started can be overwhelming. My goal is to help you feel as comfortable as possible so we can go at your pace. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and addiction. Many of my clients have tried to cope with difficult life changes by pushing their feelings away or finding short-term coping mechanisms that serve as a distraction. My role is to help people listen to and manage their emotions without feeling overwhelmed or ruled by them. Being personally in recovery from alcohol helps me understand and empathize with what you’re going through because I’ve probably been there too. I like to break down clinical approaches to collaboratively determine the best fit for each person’s unique goals. I incorporate elements of neurobiology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and schema work to help people better understand themselves and make meaningful changes in their lives. If you're not sure what you're looking for yet, that's okay! Feel free to reach out to set up an introductory phone call to see if we're a good fit.
