Therapists for college students near 02138
Hi there! My name is Jane, and I understand that with life comes tough times, and no one should have to navigate the difficult parts alone. I am a therapist dedicated to assisting individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, family conflicts or stressful life changes. I am down-to-earth and completely non-judgmental. I would love to be given the opportunity to hear your story and help you get to a better emotional space. I have been told my therapeutic personality is a good mix of approachable, yet challenging. I am client-centered, strength-based and solution-focused in my work. I mostly use CBT and DBT techniques, but I am not limited to these. I can offer an unbiased perspective to any stressors might be going through. I love to add some humor too- if you are open to it! I hope to give my clients the strength and skills to feel empowered, grounded, and aware of their worth. Please please do not hesitate to reach out!
I help clients facing anxiety, depression, shame, trauma, ADHD, and identity or relationship challenges, including LGBTQIA+ experiences. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I use evidence-based tools to help you turn your emotions into statements, so you can process them, find clarity, and move forward with confidence.
Our weight-obsessed culture chastises and shames you, as though your body size is not only a personal moral failing, but a reliable indicator of poor health. Over time, you started internalizing this anti-fat bias, and often treat yourself with the same level of contempt. You either avoid seeking medical care altogether, or expose yourself to the risk of weight stigma (far more harmful than any presumed adverse effect of your weight itself). You forgot how to nourish yourself – sometimes forbidding yourself food, sometimes isolating in shame for a binge, sometimes "paying" via purge. But friend, you are meant to bloom - not shrink. I know this may be difficult to believe right now, but you are already lovely, wise, and worthy of much more in life. I’ll hold that thought for you as you relearn it, and we use it as the foundation of our work. From there, we’ll integrate cognitive behavioral strategies with EMDR to gain insights from the present to heal your old wounds once and for all. You deserve to fully enjoy, nourish, and be at peace with your body. Learn to better understand your thoughts and emotions, and stop wasting energy on what others think. Explore the root causes of the shame you've been taught, and work to move past it – your deepest self longs to be known. Call me now for your free consultation, and let’s get started today!

Do you struggle with relationship issues, substance misuse, or navigating college and life transitions? Do you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward? You need a compassionate space to express your feelings, understand the roots of your behaviors, and heal emotional wounds. Your goals may include improving self-esteem, building confidence, and overcoming the challenges that you face. Ultimately, you want to feel heard, empowered, and more in control of your life, fostering healthier relationships and emotional balance.
Do you worry about the future? Would you describe yourself as having difficulty with perfectionism, relationships with family & friends, social anxiety or identity? We are a small practice with two therapists--Spencer & Carlie who love providing therapy to young adults as they navigate this exciting and nerve wracking time moving from childhood and dependence to adulthood and independence. We often work with young adults who may have had therapy in high school but did not previously find therapy helpful (often due to a lack of agency in picking their therapist, misunderstanding or invalidation of their experiences, disruptions in confidentiality or lack of concrete coping skills/goals worked on). We provide a reparative experience where clients feel genuinely supported and able to advocate and ask for what they need. We use a variety of different therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal-Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Based Therapy, EMDR, Goal-oriented Therapy and Mindfulness. Our clients often move towards a feeling of confidence, improved relationships and belief in their abilities to handle any challenges that may come their way.
Client-centered, holistic practice with creative and evidence -based approaches.

Whether you're dealing with the weight of depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, adjustment difficulties, or life transitions, I am here to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can find solace and growth. Together, we'll work towards discovering the underlying causes of your struggles, creating a path towards resilience, improved relationships, and a more fulfilling life.
I help people understand themselves with profound depth, not just with symptom management. If you're ready to look at patterns, relationships, and what keeps you stuck, this work is for you. Can you dream of a life no longer haunted by your past? Are you feeling limited in your relationships? Contemporary psychoanalysis offers a unique space to understand not only what has happened to you, but how your history continues to shape your inner world, often outside of conscious awareness. I help people understand themselves with profound depth; not just with symptom management. If you're ready to look at patterns, relationships, and what keeps you painfully stuck, this work is for you. Therapy is an emancipatory undertaking: the aim is not to help you become better adjusted to what has constrained you, but to help you become less beholden to it in the long run. I bring warmth, candor, and sustained attention to the room. My specialties include contemporary dream interpretation; dissociation; depression; and trauma, in all its forms.
Hi! I'm Kade- a queer, nonbinary therapist that got bored of doing traditional therapy. Now, I work with clients in the outdoors (think: walk and talk therapy, or hanging out by a creek, or making nature art) or offer to bring in art and nature into our office or virtual sessions. I primarily work with LGBTQIA+ clients as well as those figuring out life after leaving or reconsidering religion. Many of my other clients are navigating life changes that feel chaotic or are just trying to give therapy "another shot". My ultimate goal for my clients is for them to get the support they're needing. So, I'll invite you to check in about what's working or not, and will work to co-create an approach to therapy based on your own needs. Therapy should never be a "one size fits all" kind of thing.

Are you struggling to find ways to begin living a happier, secure, and fulfilled life or maybe a better handle on the current situation that keeps standing in the way of your goals? Let me help you through this process of seeking and promoting that self-love and examine your behaviors and how the behaviors of others impact you. You are in control! You have the strength, and you will have the answer! Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. As a therapist, I believe in providing a space where you will feel secure and safe to share those thoughts that continue spinning in your head throughout the day. The way you form relationships with others, or your partner is a reflection of the healed or unhealed wounds you are carrying from your childhood experience. Our childhood wounds and conditions influence us more than we think. Healing these wounds helps us improve our self-worth, our standards, and our boundaries within ourselves and others. Sometimes you need someone who will listen, challenge and understand what you are going through. Let's work on building that self-confidence, self-love, and determination that will propel you to be a better version of yourself.

Hi, I'm Caily and I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a passion for helping young adults feel empowered, understood, and supported. I earned my Master's degree from Bridgewater State University (2020) after completing my undergraduate degree at Emmanuel College (2017). I know therapy can feel intimidating at first, so I work hard to create a space where you can feel safe to show up exactly as you are. We’ll collaborate to define what you want to get out of therapy, and then break those goals into small, meaningful, and achievable steps. If you are interested in setting up an initial consult, please contact me via email or find me on Headway!
