He is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine and completed his adult psychiatry residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Schwab takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to psychiatry, focusing on lifestyle interventions, therapy, and judicious use of medications to create sustainable, long-term wellness. I practice therapy in Midtown, however, due to Covid, I currently am only offering therapy online. My goal in counseling is to help you find freedom from areas in life where you feel stuck. I utilize trauma informed approaches such as EMDR and internal family systems to help my clients heal from past wounds. I enjoy working with individuals who have had past trauma, anxiety, depression, or are struggling with life transitions.
Our practice completes psychoeducational evaluations for students who may have learning, attention, and/or executive functioning difficulties. We work with children, adolescents, and adults and specialize in determining strengths and weaknesses and providing information regarding accommodations. We complete the assessments needed to apply for accommodations in college, or for standardized testing through the college board (such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT, etc.)

We also offer specialized CBT for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders. We are an out of network practice, meaning we do not work directly with insurance companies.
