I work best with clients who may appear to have it together on the outside while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. Many are navigating trauma, OCD, mood changes, identity exploration, or relationship stress. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and those looking for an authentic, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to better understand themselves and heal.

I know how easy it is to fall into the trap of believing you need to ‘fix’ yourself in order to be happy. My goal is to help you break free from self-judgment and step into a healthier, more balanced version of yourself. We’ll work together to understand all aspects of who you are, using a holistic approach that acknowledges both your struggles and your strengths.
I work with Students at all leveles and my approach is both flexible and eclectic. I often use Brief Intermittent Therapy. I find that it works best for people to come in for a defined brief period of time (such as 6-8 weeks) and focus on one specific area that needs attention; the time in therapy is more concentrated and effective. When the need arises, I welcome clients back for a "tune up." My clinical work with students and families began in the early 1990’s. Much of my career has centered on helping kids in school settings. I also work with teachers and staff. I have successfully supported clients during times of crisis, transition, and struggle. I can help with anxiety, depression, peers, LGBTQ+ issues, and post-concussion support. I invite you to reach out and see if we would work well together. I am equally comfortable working via teletherapy or in-person therapy. My office is located in Harwich Center on Cape Cod. I'm happy to discuss what works best for you. Call or email Bonnie Jackman to schedule a free 15 minute consultation My Practice at a Glance Bonnie Jackman, LICSW 11 Pleasant Lake Ave Harwich, MA 02645 774-408-6164

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, parenting issues, life transitions, chronic illness, and educational needs, among other concerns. Whether you're navigating a specific issue or seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to support you. I am a clinical social worker (LICSW) with over 25 years of experience working with young adults and families across a variety of settings. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, parental guidance, attachment, family systems and relationship issues. I deeply value authenticity and strive to create a trusting relationship with my clients. My approach is grounded in family system theory but draws on a variety of methods including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to create a tailored approach for each individual person. I am committed to helping clients determine problem clarity, as I believe this is essential to achieving problem resolution. The feelings of anxiety, sadness and inner conflict can feel so overwhelming. My work focuses on engaging collaboratively with people to fully understand the roots of their personal pain and create pathways to healing emotional wounds. We are in a conversation with ourselves all day long, and when we become more aware of how we talk to ourselves, it gives us the opportunity to become more gentle and compassionate with ourselves. Clients who work with me learn how to transform the internal conversation and shift their thoughts, patterns and ultimately their lives for the better.
As a dual-certified practitioner of integrative psychiatry, I bring a holistic perspective to mental healthcare, grounded in a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and its impact on both mental and physical well-being. Through comprehensive assessments, tailored treatment plans, expert pairing of both psychotropic and complementary interventions, and continuous therapeutic support, I work to guide my patients through challenging times, build resilience, and empower a strong sense of self-efficacy.
My psychotherapy practice focuses on individuals and couples, ranging in age from young adults (18 and up), adults, and elderly. I strive to create a safe environment in which to explore life stressors, patterns of relating with others, and how past experiences impact the present. My practice is experienced and welcoming to LGBTQ and BIPOC populations. Areas of professional practice include: • Mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar • Alcohol and drug use, harm reduction • Relationships, separation and divorce • Sexual issues and concerns • Chronic pain and illness, including HIV, autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome • Grief and loss • Women's reproductive health • Career issues • Financial concerns

Welcome to Insights Psychological Services. College and graduate school can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. You may be juggling academic pressure, relationships, career decisions, family expectations, identity, and the constant feeling that you should be doing more—or handling it all better. At Insights, we provide virtual therapy for college students, graduate students, young adults, professionals, and couples throughout Massachusetts. Our therapists take a warm, relational approach to therapy. We believe that feeling understood, comfortable, and genuinely connected with your therapist is an important part of creating meaningful and lasting change. **We are currently welcoming new clients with Dr. Samantha Jackson, our postdoctoral fellow at Insights.** Dr. Jackson provides a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space for clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting to understand themselves more deeply. She especially enjoys working with college and graduate students, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, perfectionism, burnout, and major life transitions. Dr. Jackson takes a relational and psychodynamically informed approach, helping clients explore not only what they are experiencing, but also the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to how they feel today. Her goal is to create a space where clients can feel genuinely heard and comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful change. More broadly, our clinicians at Insights frequently work with anxiety, depression or low mood, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, stress, panic, OCD tendencies, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, family-of-origin issues, trauma, and major life transitions. We also support clients exploring racial and cultural identity, gender and sexual identity, sexual health, neurodivergence, and religious or existential concerns. Therapy doesn't have to be another place where you're expected to have everything figured out. It can be a space to slow down, better understand yourself and your patterns, work through what's getting in the way, and develop healthier ways of navigating your relationships and your life. **Dr. Jackson currently has immediate telehealth openings for new clients.** We offer a **free 20-minute consultation** so you can meet with us, ask questions, and see whether Dr. Jackson—or another therapist at Insights—feels like the right fit. To learn more about Insights or request a consultation, visit [www.insightspsychologicalservices.org](http://www.insightspsychologicalservices.org). We look forward to connecting with you. *Dr. Samantha Jackson is a postdoctoral fellow at Insights Psychological Services and practices under clinical supervision.*
