My goal is to create a safe relationship where you can process all the pieces of your experience. We’ll look together at how your cultural identities and family context have shaped how you experience the world, and how your past impacts your present. We’ll approach your relational patterns with a sense of curiosity and compassion. We'll explore, “How did I get here, what does it mean to be here, and where do I want to go?". Whatever is bringing you to therapy, I hope to provide a space where you can face your difficulties in order to restore connection, both to yourself and to the most important people in your life. My approach is warm and direct, and I'm informed by training in attachment, trauma, grief & loss, perinatal mental health, infertility, emotional agility, embodiment, religious deconstruction, brain science, cultural influences, privilege & oppression, HAES, and couple/family systems. I am accepting new clients and I'd love to meet you! For CO: in-network with Aetna and Cigna. For IL: in-network with BCBS. I also partner with a company called Mentaya that helps clients access their out-of-network benefits. You may be eligible to receive partial reimbursements for your sessions. Contact me for more info. If you have any questions about anything on my profile, feel free to reach out!

Originally from Chicago, I moved to Colorado to pursue my Master’s at the University of Denver, which confirmed my passion for social work. Before opening my private practice, I worked extensively with survivors of intimate partner abuse, individuals in recovery and couples in crisis. This experience provided me with deep expertise in attachment therapy and reinforced the vital importance of trauma-informed care. My background has shaped a clinical approach rooted in curiosity and a drive to understand the motivations behind actions. This perspective allows me to serve my clients through relational lens, focusing on meaningful connection and growth. If you choose to work with me, you will find a collaborative environment defined by non-judgment and openness. Regardless of your goals, your identities, or where you are in your journey, it would be my honor to support you and your loved ones. I look forward to being your advocate as we work together to reach your goals.

I utilize evidenced based interventions from both acceptance and commitment therapy and trauma-informed care principles in my practice. I graduated in 2017 from the University of Denver with my Masters in Social Work and have been providing both inpatient and outpatient treatment since that time. My education and both, personal and professional experiences have allowed me to develop skills to work with diverse, often marginalized populations, such as members of the LGBTQIA+ population or those where English is not their first language. My specialities for work center around severe mental illnesses, such as: schizophrenia and other thought disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Typically clients I work with have the above noted challenges, but have also experienced other stressors in their relationships, employment, and/or with addiction(s) of some kind.

Hi there! My name is Alli. As the youngest of four girls, I feel like I was born listening and curious about people’s stories from as early as I can remember. After college, I taught kindergarten before starting a masters in counseling in Baltimore. My goal is to lessen the weight that you carry and create a space for safety, creativity, respect and self-growth. I believe in the power of change and use mindful practices to help foster self-awareness and bring lovingkindness to our deepest wounds as humans. "I am falling apart on the inside. "This world wasn't built for me." "I am always overwhelmed all the time." "My best never feels good enough." If these thoughts have crossed your mind, I promise you aren’t alone. I hear you, and I want to help. I believe therapy doesn’t happen in a vacuum — our lives are shaped by systems, cultures, and histories that can both support and harm us. In our work together, we’ll look not only at your personal experiences but also at the broader context you live in. My goal is to honor your identity, acknowledge the impact of oppression and marginalization, and create a space where all parts of you feel seen and valued. I draw from person-centered, narrative, existential, and ACT, IFS-informed parts work, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT) approaches, always centering you as the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll explore your story, build on your strengths, and work toward the changes that feel most meaningful to you.

I prioritize striking a balance between thoughtfulness and intentionality, while allowing space for ease and flow. I specialize in working with young adults and adults who are interested in exploring identity development, interpersonal relationship issues, and life transitions. You might be struggling in the most important relationships in your life, or trying to find a way out of feeling stagnant. Perhaps you have felt a pull to understand yourself more deeply. Through creating a safe and strong connection, we can be curious about these things together. In my graduate and post-graduate experience, I have primarily worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma across a variety of settings. While I am mainly relationally focused, I have experience with psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and behavioral approaches. By leaning towards authenticity, humor, and connection, I believe we can gain insight and create shifts in how we approach our life and our relationships. Therapy is a collaborative and creative relationship that can provide the opportunity to navigate this together.

Being in college is not like any other time in your life. Some parts of it can be just great and others very challenging and even completely overwhelming at times. It is not at all uncommon for college students to feel anxious, depressed, uncertain about themselves and the future, or to find themselves very challenged by academics, personal identity, thinking of the future, and dealing with complicated relationships of all kinds. I get it! I worked in two university counseling centers before going into private practice and developed a lot of respect for the challenges facing college students. You guys are one of my favorite groups of people to work with, too, because you are in this unique position of usually being fairly newly out of your family home, able to make more choices on your own, and have your whole lives ahead of you to shape the way you want them to be--scary though that is. I'm happy to help you if I can.
