To be honest, “telling your story” or expressing your thoughts and feelings was not always a great experience, was it? Maybe your words (and pain) seemed to fall on deaf ears or somehow become twisted and misconstrued—sometimes used against you. You spoke, which was good, but you were not heard… and that hurts. So you silenced yourself—“maybe I should keep quiet...nobody understands”. Well, as a woman of God (who was once silenced herself), I’ve developed a very heavy conviction to be a listening ear for others who not only wish to speak, but also desire to be HEARD. That, plus understanding, is the beginning of healing and freedom. I enjoy helping individuals, couples and families through past and current challenges using faith-integrated techniques and theoretical approaches. My therapeutic style is purposed to provide you with a safe space to identify and express how your thoughts/beliefs are impacting your emotions and behavior; and thus, your life and relationships with loved ones.
My therapy practice gives you the unique opportunity to take the space to be heard and discover what you really want. I specialize in helping clients work through betrayals and relationship issues. During our time together you will build resiliency skills, set healthier boundaries, and manage stress more effectively to led to a happier life!
I specialize in working with female students who are struggling with anxiety or stress. Maybe you are noticing burnout and feeling a lack of interest in classes, feeling stressed with upcoming exams, feeling anxious making new friends, or feeling completely overwhelmed by the sorority system at school. College or graduate school is meant to be an experience of self-discovery, but you may find yourself isolating, worrying, anxious, or overwhelmed. The pressure to excel academically, anxiety of moving away from home, the demands of coursework and deadlines, and the challenges of making new friends can all contribute to anxiety and stress and just feeling down. If you are looking to feel in control of your life again and get back to enjoying life, you have come to the right place! As someone who experiences anxiety myself and struggled to get into the groove of college, I I get it! I would love to support you in coping with any anxiety or stress you are currently experiencing to help you feel relief and get back that enjoyment of life! Please reach out today.

Psychotherapy is helpful for a variety of clinical disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD and interpersonal difficulties. My clinical specialties include anxiety disorders, healing after trauma, gender and sexual identity (LGBTQIA+ Affirmation therapy), and much more. Welcome to my page! My approach is flexible and depends on your needs, values, and goals. I work best with clients who want a warm, compassionate, and direct space to process their experiences, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build practical skills for everyday life and relationships. I strive to create a comfortable space where authenticity (yours and mine) is central. I'll always come to session with warmth, curiosity, and a little silliness. My work is rooted in relationships, community, and attachment. I blend mindfulness, creative approaches, and evidence-based talk therapies to support clients navigating political stress, sadness and worry, identity exploration, relationships, life transitions, and feelings of disconnection or burnout. I especially enjoy working with young adults to strengthen communication skills, build confidence, and reconnect with themselves and others during periods of change and uncertainty. Everyone deserves to experience more of the good things in life and less of the bad. Individual and collective healing is a radical act toward experiencing and creating more of life's good things. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, explore what matters most to you, and work toward creating more ease, connection, and meaning in your life. If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to connect.
