We provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. Through careful evaluation and collaboration, we help our clients discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and build resilience.

Who I Am

Karen Kaczynski Lau, PhD, is a Harvard-trained clinical child psychologist. She spent 15 years working in a multidisciplinary clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has extensive experience providing evaluation and treatment to young people facing complex biopsychosocial challenges. Her areas of expertise include stress management, coping with adjustment, addressing anxiety and emotional difficulties, managing chronic medical issues, and difficulty in school.

What I Offer
Dr. Lau will conduct a comprehensive psychological evaluation with all new patients and provide concrete recommendations. She provides treatment with empirically-supported methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. Treatment will be individualized, developmentally informed, and targeted to your specific needs.
